The fee

The fee for each record type is shown before an application is submitted and is paid on submission. It covers the review of the application, the certificate and its entry in the register.

Refunds

The fee is refunded in full when the Bureau cannot take the case because it falls outside the service, for example when one spouse will not take part, and when the applicant withdraws the application before a reviewer has begun the review. Once a certificate has been issued the fee is not refunded, because the service has been completed.

When a case stops after the review has begun, for example because a signer declines, the Bureau decides any refund according to the work already done and confirms the decision to the applicant in writing.

Write to [email protected] with the private case link. Refunds are paid to the original method of payment.
