Before you begin
A settlement record attests that an agreement on a matter of Islamic personal status was made and carried out, such as the payment of a bride-purse (mahr) or the division of an estate. Records of this type are necessary to show that a debt is settled or an estate divided. All parties that attest to the settlement must make truthful statements. Read the full notice.
